When: Saturday, January 28, 2017, 5:00p- 7:00pm
Where: First Mennonite Church, 4601 Knollton Rd, Indianapolis IN
In 2016 our values were tested as we viewed a tumultuous theatre of politics- a drama that is playing out in our communities, our bodies and our hearts. Join us as we try to reinvigorate our values of love and community and make a fresh transition to 2017 by filling this space with affirmations of love. Community and faith-based leaders will be guiding discussions while choirs from Butler University, Goshen College, Earlham College, Grace Tabernacle Church Congolese Choir and Indianapolis Women’s Chorus will lead and perform music to contextualize our conversations.
All are welcome, the event is free and open to the public and you don’t have to be a singer to participate.
This event is in joint cooperation with The Desmond Tutu Center for Peace, Reconciliation, and Global Justice, The Center for Interfaith Cooperation, Butler University’s Center for Faith and Vocation and School of Music.
