Our task in the next century is to put new technologies to work in the cause of social justice and who better to take the lead than our young people? Join Coderdojo46038 and the DTC once a month for a free coding class and equip yourself to become a confident leader with the techie skills to make an impact.

CoderDojo is a program focused on running free, non-profit coding clubs for young people ages 8-15 years. It is set up, run, and led by volunteers. It is a TechPoint Foundation for Youth initiative. At CoderDojo46038 sessions, young people learn core coding concepts, develop websites, apps, programs, games, and gain confidence through presenting their projects in classroom. Our Dojo takes organized tours of tech companies and brings in guest speakers to talk about their career journeys. CoderDojo makes development and learning to code a fun, sociable, and awesome experience.

Coding classes are open to youth ages 8 and up. Children under the age of 13 years will need to be accompanied by an adult. Parents are welcome and encouraged to join and learn along!
