The Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra Presents: Peacemakers

The Desmond Tutu Center is proud to partner with the The Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra to premiere a new work by composer-in-residence James Aikman. The ensemble will highlight speeches and contributions of the famous peacemakers of our time: Mahatma Gandhi, Eleanor Roosevelt, John F. Kennedy, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Robert F. Kennedy, Anwar Sadat, Yitzak Rabin, and Nelson Mandela. In this comprehensive work, Composer James Aikman will memorialize these peacemakers in music, media, and performance. Their inspiring ideas live on.
